Biography

Jamie is the Founding Director of The Aspen Institute’s Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN), a network of community collaboratives committed to advancing decent jobs and leadership for youth. With 17 communities across India, Africa, and Latin America, GOYN has connected over 1M Opportunity Youth to economic opportunity. Previously, Jamie was President & CEO of Education For Employment (EFE) and grew the organization to provide jobs for tens of thousands of youth across the Middle East & North Africa. Prior to EFE, Jamie was Portfolio Manager at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation (now Blue Meridian Partners), dedicated to scaling solutions that lift people out of poverty. Early in his career, Jamie was a Director at Ashoka. He has degrees from Georgetown and Johns Hopkins University. Jamie is a Schwab Foundation Global Social Entrepreneur, Member of the WEF Global Future Council on Human Capital Development, and life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
