Biography
Jeremy Hockenstein is the Managing Director of the Livelihood Impact Fund (LIF), a foundation seeking to meaningfully and durably improve the lives of the global poor. Prior to LIF, Jeremy co-founded and served as the CEO of Digital Divide Data. For its business success and remarkable social impact, DDD and Jeremy have been recognized with the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship as well as awards from the World Bank Development Marketplace, the IFC Grassroots Business Initiative and the Global Knowledge Partnership. Jeremy has also worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and as an international nonprofit consultant. He graduated from Harvard with a BA in economics and earned an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
