Biography
Robyn Calder is President of ELMA Philanthropies, the services arm of The ELMA Group of Foundations, which is focused on improving the lives of children and their families, particularly in Africa.
In addition to being on the board of ELMA Philanthropies, Robyn is on the board of The ELMA South Africa Foundation, which invests in organizations protecting the constitutional rights of people in South Africa; as well as Masana wa Afrika, which supports community-based organizations that serve children across Africa; and the END Fund, focused on eliminating Neglected tropical Diseases.
Robyn is a member of the Beginnings Fund Investment Committee, Royal Bank of Canada Philanthropy Advisory Council and Last Mile Health’s Advisory Board.
Robyn has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a MSc in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Development Studies from UC Berkeley.
