Biography
Muriel is currently Head of Commercialisation and Global Partnerships at BBC News, where she leads a multifunctional team working across editorial philanthropic
projects, commercial strategy and communications.
Prior to this, Muriel worked in a number of roles across the media industry, including Time Inc., Hearst and BBC Studios, both in the US and UK. Outside of work, Muriel serves as Vice Chair of The Africa Centre, and is a member of the Board of Trustees at One World Media. She has also written and presented research papers on the impact of advertising on digital content consumption and cultural statistics for UNESCO. Muriel holds an MSc with Distinction in Strategic Management from the University of Bristol and a BA from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
