Biography
As Director of Impact and Development at Glasswing International, Sandra Contreras draws from two decades of experience working with communities across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa. Her work with the Salvadoran government and organizations like FINCA, Save the Children, and Population Council has focused on microfinance, humanitarian assistance, and positive youth development. She holds a Master's in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
As part of Glasswing International since 2016, Sandra has led a dedicated team, cultivating sustainable programs and partnerships. Together with colleagues and partners, she helps develop integrated programs that address complex social challenges, particularly in positive youth development, mental health support, and community resilience building. These initiatives bring together multiple sectors to foster social cohesion and create more inclusive communities.
