Luis Fernando Sanabria

Biography

Luis Fernando Sanabria is the COO at Fundación Paraguaya where he is responsible for implementing the organization’s programs and social innovations in Paraguay and worldwide. Fundación Paraguaya was named Latin America’s most impactful and innovative development organization by the Inter-American Development Bank in 2018. He also wrote consultancy works for various organizations, including the Inter-American Development Bank, the United Nations Development Programme, the Avina Foundation, and the International American Foundation, among others. He is the founder, and was the first president, of the College of Civil Society Organizations of Paraguay. In public service, he served as Director General of Internal Administration of the Municipality of Asunción and led the Tax Reformation Program. Mr. Sanabria has a law degree from the Catholic University of Asunción, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Austral University of Buenos Aires.
