Michael Williams

Biography

Mike is an innovative professional working in the field of community investment and development at the domestic and international levels for 8+ years. Mike holds an MBA in Innovation Leadership and an MA focused on program design and evaluation in the international development field. His current work is aimed at the transformation of the financial sector across Africa through various institutional, technology, policy, product and process levers for positive impacts on low-income segments. Mike is also an Instructor in the Human Services Department at a Canadian College and sits on the Board of Directors at Catalystsx, an organization aimed at supporting and growing changemakers in Canada.

Mike's experience has developed a diverse skill set characterized by effective engagement across program lifecycles, executive level capacity building, strategic and analytical thinking, innovative and effective programmatic and investment approaches, practice in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, as well as a distinct ability to work with communities to collaboratively address social and economic issues.
