Franz is an economist with extensive experience providing technical assistance to government agencies, regulatory bodies and financial institutions in the design and implementation of strategies for financial inclusion and education and social protection. He previously worked as a financial examiner for the superintendence of banks in Bolivia. In his ten years at Fundación Capital he has led projects related to his areas of expertise in twelve countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Franz has a master's in economics and a PhD in economic development with a focus on rural finances from Ohio State University.
