Emily Bancroft is the Chief Executive Officer of Health Care Without Harm, a global nonprofit working to transform health care into a force for environmental health, equity, and climate resilience.
Emily brings more than two decades of experience leading health systems innovation and advancing health equity across the globe. Prior to joining Health Care Without Harm, she served as President and CEO of VillageReach, where she expanded the organization’s work across more than a dozen countries, forged cross-sector partnerships, and helped deliver people-centered health solutions that reached over 111 million people.
Her career has focused on strengthening systems that serve the most underserved—working with health professionals, governments, and communities across the U.S. and Africa to improve access to care and shift policies for greater equity.
