Biography

Amy Coughenour Betancourt is a transformational social sector leader who has dedicated over three decades to supporting community-led organizations across the globe to implement effective, sustainable solutions to the world’s biggest problems. She is currently the President and CEO of Cadasta Foundation, an innovative non-profit that deploys geospatial technology, services, and data to advance global land and resource rights for over 7,000 rightholder communities across 50 countries. Amy has an ESG Designation from Competent Boards and was named as a Global 50 Women in Sustainability in 2024. Amy serves as a Board Director of Manna Food Center and a member of the Global Diplomacy Lab. She has an MA in International Policy Studies and a BA in German. She has held leadership roles at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, NCBA CLUSA, and the Pan American Development Foundation.
