Sana Kapadia

Biography

Sana is a seasoned finance and investment professional, gender-smart investing specialist and global changemaker. She is Chief Catalyst at Heading for Change, building and deploying a demonstration portfolio of catalytic investments and grants at the climate and gender finance nexus. Previously she was Head of Content at GenderSmart, Director of Strategy at 2X Global, Gender Lead of Impact-linked finance at Roots of Impact and has held other leadership roles in Canada, Europe and the Middle East. Her career has spanned gender finance, venture capital, development finance, impact investing and equity research. She is focused on leveraging capital as a tool for social change and to support deep and intersectional systemic shifts. She serves on the Board of Criterion Institute and is an advisor to a number of organisations across impact investing, gender and climate finance and social justice.
