Helen is a queer feminist working to build health systems that work for women and girls everywhere.
COO at Operation Fistula (OpF), she is on a mission to end obstetric fistula for every woman, everywhere. Using innovative financing of grassroots operatives and data-driven quality case management, OpF helps identify trends that can reduce risk of maternal death and build capacity within health systems.
In 2024, Helen co-created 'The Sidebar,' and founded 'The Rainbow Road'. The Sidebar creates accessible networks for meaningful engagement across the global development ecosystem. The Rainbow Road exists to enable safe, celebratory spaces and community for LGBTQIA+ international development professionals.
Helen is happiest when she is scaling ideas, solving problems, connecting communities, and driving change. She's here to get stuff done and make a tangible impact!
