Vivianne Ihekweazu is the Managing Director of Nigeria Health Watch, a health communication and advocacy organisation based in Nigeria, advocating for improved health and access to health services. She leads the strategic direction of the organisation and is responsible for designing and implementing health communication and advocacy strategies and campaigns for government, not-for-profits, and development partners in Nigeria.
Her work currently focuses on nutrition, maternal newborn and child health, routine immunisation, sexual and reproductive health & rights and health security. She played a leading role in the COVID-19 crisis & emergency risk communications team, supporting the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in public health communications, defining messaging priorities and developing public health guidelines.
