Biography
Marina Pravdić currently serves as the Director of Operations and Strategic Planning at The Rockefeller Foundation. In this capacity Marina manages the budget, grantmaking, and contracting for the Foundation's Communications, Policy and Advocacy department. In addition, Marina spearheads several special initiatives that promote the Foundation's programmatic work. During the pandemic, a critical time for the Foundation and the world, Marina managed a $2M grant portfolio to provide Covid tests and vaccines to underserved communities in Miami Beach, Tulsa, and New Orleans.
Marina has extensive experience in the field and prior to her time at The Rockefeller Foundation oversaw the work of regional offices in Europe for the Open Society Foundations. She has also worked with Human Rights Watch in New York, Brussels, and Berlin. Marina holds a Bachelor's degree from Middlebury College and a Master's degree in International Relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
