Louisa Zondo

Biography

Louisa Zondo is a co-founder of the Riky Rick Foundation, Chairperson of the Barloworld Empowerment Foundation, and former Chairperson of Oxfam South Africa. A lawyer and social activist, she played a key role in South Africa’s transition from apartheid and later led the South African Human Rights Commission. In memory of her son Riky Rick, she advocates for mental health, artivism, and youth support.
