Shannon is CEO, Antara International, leading fundraising and awareness efforts for the work of The Antara Foundation in India. Antara works with and through government health systems to strengthen healthcare delivery for women and children at the last mile in Madhya Pradesh, India. Antara believes that every mother and each child deserve an equal start to a healthy life, and this is Shannon’s guiding value. Shannon has built her career in the global nonprofit sector focused on fundraising, partnerships, and awareness-raising. Prior to Antara, Shannon worked for mothers2mothers, as Director of Corporate Partnerships and Director of Development, and for the International Rescue Committee, specializing in corporate partnerships, cause marketing and awareness campaigns. Shannon is passionate about women’s rights, health, the environment, and community building. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York.
