Biography

Susan Brown is a senior advocacy, policy, and communications expert with a strong track record in public policy and sustainable development. She has advised international organizations on gender, health, and development. From 2016–2022, she was Director of Public Policy Engagement at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and from 2005–2016, Director of Global and Regional Policy at WWF International. Earlier roles include senior advisor in the Australian Federal Parliament, journalist, and conservation coordinator. Recognized in 2016 as an “Inspirational Woman in Geneva,” Susan holds an Executive Master’s in Environmental Governance from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Social Science degree from RMIT. A Swiss national, she grew up in Australia and moved to Switzerland in 2005.
