Ineza is a pan-African builder committed to reshaping how Afro-descendant leaders shape our collective future. She co-founded Funders of African Descent (FoAD) to build a global community of Afro-descendant funders who collaborate to direct smarter resources to Afro-descendant communities - by normalizing proximity and representation in funding decisions. Her career spans impact investing, venture philanthropy, and operating roles in education ventures. Most recently, she served as an Investment Principal at the Mulago Foundation, sourcing bold ideas and coaching entrepreneurs primarily across Africa and India. She holds an MBA from Duke University and is also a yoga teacher, integrating wellness as a practice for stamina in the work of shifting global norms.
