Biography

He holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Bahia, a specialization in Sustainability and Environmental Education from the State University of Feira de Santana, and a master's degree in Politics and Development from the Federal University of Bahia. He was a member of the National Council for Sustainable Rural Development (CONDRAF), National Executive Director of Cáritas Brasileira, Founder and member of the Brazilian Forum on Climate Change and Environmental Justice, a member of the Coordination of the National Forum for Agrarian Reform and Justice in the Countryside, Founder and President of CONCATU Consultoria, and is currently the Executive Director of the Amazon Conservation Team Brazil. He has experience in the areas of Environment, Human Rights, Economics, and Education, with an emphasis on Territories, Agroecology, and Sustainable Rural Development.
