Abbey Turtinen

Biography

Abbey Turtinen joined SOLA as the Director of Development. She leads the development team on raising funds for and the profile of SOLA to expand education for Afghan girls, globally.

Previously, she worked at Yamba Malawi - an organization working to end child poverty - as the Development and Communications Manager leading the team on fundraising and communications. Prior to that she worked at the END Fund - dedicated to ending neglected tropical diseases - as the Senior Associate Director, Investor Relations. She has spent her career at international organizations with a focus on improving the lives of children across the globe.

Abbey holds a BA in International Relations and Geography from Syracuse University.
