Abir Haddad

Biography

Dr. Abir Haddad, Founder and Director of the Institute for Legal Transformation, advises governments on proactive lawmaking for climate change and exponential technologies. As a UNFCCC advisor, she developed the "7 steps to legal transformation" methodology. Dr. Haddad, named Germany's Elite 2021 by Capital Magazine, is an alumnus of the Max Planck Society and adjunct Professor at the University of Cologne. She advises Middle Eastern countries and serves on Iraq's prime minister's advisory committee for exponential technologies. A Strive Award 2025 winner in sustainability, Dr. Haddad has spoken at the World Government Summit, COP27, COP28, and TEDx Baghdad.
