Adria Goodson

Biography

Adria D. Goodson, PhD is director of Ford Foundation’s Global Fellowship program. She believes powerful leaders can be catalysts for collective action, including disrupting and transforming organizations and systems that perpetuate inequality. Adria has spent nearly three decades designing fellowships for senior leaders. She has integrated co-design models, adult development theory and adaptive leadership practices into these programs. These skills and practices support those who are leading through fast-paced change and increased complexity.

Adria was the founding director of Hunt Alternatives Fund’s Prime Movers Fellowship, a program that supported innovative US leaders from 2005-2015. She worked with the Pahara-Aspen Fellowship program, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and is a moderator for The Aspen Institute. She served on the faculty of Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education’s Education Doctorate in Leadership program for over a decade.
