Biography

Aimee Allison is the founder and president of She the People, a national organization that builds the power of women of color as leaders of a new American political and cultural era. Her accolades include organizing the nation’s first presidential forum for women of color, igniting the call for Kamala Harris as the VP pick in 2020 and for California Gov. Newsom’s appointment of a Black woman to the U.S. Senate. She is a leading national voice on Black women and women of color in our democracy, is widely acknowledged for her data annd reporting on the women of color electorate and is the host of the podcast She the People with Aimee Allison. She holds a BA and Master’s Degree from Stanford University.
