Biography
Alexander Wheeler is Community Health Impact Coalition's (CHIC) inaugural Development Lead. He studied Political Economy at Georgetown University while researching change-makers and social innovation at the Brookings Institution’s Center for Universal Education. He completed a Princeton in Asia fellowship at the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam before joining BRAC, where he developed technology-focused partnerships for health and education interventions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he managed community-level projects in both Sierra Leone and New York City. Shortly thereafter, he joined IDinsight’s effort to democratize access to high quality data and evidence for social sector decision-making. He is a deep believer in CHIC’s pioneering role in addressing global labor exploitation, and looks forward to expanding CHIC’s footprint of policy wins alongside new partners.
