Biography

Alisa Adams is a political scientist and development professional passionate about leveraging technology for socio-economic change in Africa. She holds an MSc in Political Science from Leiden University and a BA (Cum Laude) in Law and Politics from Utrecht University. Currently, she is the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager at Uncommon, a Zimbabwean NGO providing free tech education to underserved youth, where she previously served as Programs Manager. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Future Wings Foundation, which supports children's education in Zimbabwe. Before joining Uncommon, Alisa worked as a Project Consultant for a tech start-up in Amsterdam, leading cross-sector projects in business development and market research. With a strong background in research, policy, and advocacy, she has conducted fieldwork on indigenous rights in Mexico and actively promotes African development through writing and public engagement.
