Alison Fitzgerald Kodjak is the Global Investigations Editor at the Associated Press, based in Washington, where she works with the best team of multimedia investigative reporters in the world. She re-joined AP in 2019 after a two decade tour through the news industry, with stops at NPR, Bloomberg News, the Philadelphia Inquirer and The Center for Public Integrity. As a reporter she has covered an array of subjects, including economics, health policy and taxes, and major news events including the 2008 financial collapse, the fight over Obamacare and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. As an editor she has overseen investigative coverage of the war in Ukraine, the global pandemic and two presidential impeachments. She works closely with the PBS series FRONTLINE to create documentary films from AP’s investigative reporting.
