Dr. Amel Karboul, H.E., is CEO of the Education Outcomes Fund, a UN-hosted fund using innovative finance and public policy to improve education and employment opportunities for 10 million children and youth living in poverty. With 30 years of leadership across entrepreneurial, corporate, public, and philanthropic spheres, she is known for combining analytical clarity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust across systems.
She was Tunisia’s first female Minister of Tourism and the first woman to lead an economic ministry, guiding a major sector through the country’s democratic transition and receiving the Presidential Citizens Medal. Her earlier roles span Mercedes-Benz, DaimlerChrysler, BCG, and founding CEO of Change, Leadership & Partners.
