Amrita Bhandari

Biography

Amrita is the Chief of Insights & Strategy at Acumen, leading efforts to distill insights from patient capital investing, build centers of excellence, and amplify Acumen’s impact voice to drive strategic conversations on poverty solutions. Previously, she served as Acumen’s Chief of Business Development and CFO and sits on the boards of investees like Kheyti (an affordable “greenhouse in a box” solution for smallholder farmers) and WARC (an agriculture company focused on getting subsistence farmers out of poverty in West Africa).

Before Acumen, Amrita was CFO at Katzenbach Partners, a dynamic management consulting firm, guiding its merger with Booz & Co., and later ran her own consulting practice focused on the social sector. She has also worked with MLT, Edelman, and other firms. Amrita holds a BA in International Relations from The College of Wooster.
