Biography

Anu Menon is dedicated to advancing the rights of women and marginalized communities globally.She is the Founder and CEO of the Sahana Fund and leads the philanthropic giving portfolio.Previously, she served as Executive Director of Oasis for Girls, a San Francisco nonprofit offering after-school programs for under-resourced high school girls.She also led Community Partnerships at Help a Mother Out, improving family well-being by increasing access to diapers.Anu has extensive experience in civil and human rights through the San Francisco Department on the Status of Women, ACLU of Northern California, Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, and Human Rights First.In education, she was Director of Admissions and Operations at Presidio Knolls School and led graduate support at De Marillac Academy, a middle school providing free education to underserved students. Anu is on the board of the Global Fund for Women and holds a BA from Stanford, an MA from Johns Hopkins, and a JD from UC Berkeley.
