Biography
Apollo Gonzales serves as the Executive Director of the Climate Advocacy Lab, a movement support organization whose mission is to enable a multiracial, cross-class climate movement that collectively builds and wields power to ensure all people live in thriving and equitable communities. Apollo is a climate campaign activist and organizer, with nearly two decades of leadership experience building digital campaigns and convening communities of practice in the climate advocacy space for the purpose of coordinating and sharing knowledge. He lives in the Texas Gulf Coast, on the front lines of the impacts of our rapidly changing climate on our environment, and on the imbalance of economic and racial justice in our most vulnerable and under resourced communities. He also serves as chair of the board of directors of Climate Access, and is an elected member of City Council and serves as Mayor Pro Tem of the small town of Brookside Village, Texas.
