Biography

Arianne Griffith is an Attorney and researcher with expertise in corporate accountability. She currently leads the corporate accountability campaign at Global Witness which focuses on ensuring accountability for negative human rights and environmental impacts of business activities. Arianne has published in the areas of public international law and business and human rights. Prior to joining Global Witness, she was a Senior Research and Policy Fellow at the University of Nottingham’s Rights Lab leading work to improve business responses to forced labour and labour abuses in supply chains through law and policy interventions. Arianne has also held legal and research-based roles at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) as well as at international tribunals including the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. She holds a Master of Laws degree in International Law from UCL and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies.
