Biography
Ashley Marine is a social worker, educator, and nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience in community-based organizations, fundraising, and program design. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Peace Studies from Xavier University and her master’s degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, where she now teaches at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. Ashley worked internationally in Ghana, providing educational support to migrant girls. At GirlForward, she helped transform bold ideas into action for refugee girls, ultimately serving as Executive Director. She currently serves as Senior Manager of Major Gifts at Water For People, driving efforts to expand global access to safe water and sanitation.
