Biography

Krantinaari is an Indian artist, rapper, and communication designer reshaping the global music industry through art that champions women’s empowerment, sustainability, and social justice. As co-founder of Wild Wild Women, India’s first all-female hip-hop collective, she has performed over 300 shows across India and taken the stage at Roskilde, WOMEX, Cité des Arts, and more. She has collaborated with icons like Mohini Dey, Sona Mohapatra, Bikram Ghosh, and Viveck Rajgopalan, blending hip-hop with diverse musical traditions.

A British Council Global Music Leader and INK Fellow (2024-25), Krantinaari is a vocal advocate for inclusivity in music, using global platforms like AWID 2025 to push for systemic change. Her work, recognized by the Global Fund for Women, empowers marginalized communities by preserving cultural heritage and fostering economic independence.

Beyond performance, she is actively shaping the future of music through education and entrepreneurship. She has developed an education module with the French Institute and the Delhi Government and contributes to SNDT University’s Women’s Startup Incubator, building sustainable, women-led creative spaces.

Krantinaari’s performances are a fusion of electrifying hip-hop and compelling storytelling, creating powerful spaces for women’s voices, cultural heritage, and social change.
