Beadie Finzi is one of the co-executive directors of Doc Society, a non profit with team based in Europe, East Africa, and the Americas. For 21 years we have worked to resource the most exciting independent filmmakers in the world.
We are advocates and practitioners of cultural strategy. Work that has developed at scale with programmes like Good Pitch, the Climate Story Unit and the Democracy Story Unit which help demonstrate the power of independent media.
Beyond the right of artists to self-expression we are focused on the right of all citizens to access media in in the public interest and are working with allies to imagine more robust and equitable funding and distribution systems.
