Dr. Benjamin W. Wachira is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Founder and Executive Director of the Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation (EMKF). Dedicated to strengthening emergency healthcare systems, he has supported governments and healthcare providers across Kenya to enhance emergency medical care and save lives. A former president of the African Federation for Emergency Medicine, he has played a pivotal role in advancing emergency medical care across Africa. A prolific researcher, his work has driven significant improvements in emergency healthcare services in Kenya and beyond. His contributions continue to shape the field, earning him widespread recognition both nationally and internationally.
