Biography

Brenda is a visionary leader transforming communities through strategic advocacy, nonprofit management, and unwavering commitment to social justice. At Hispanics in Philanthropy, she leads fundraising strategy, ensuring financial goals are met while nurturing relationships with donors and community partners. As Chair of the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, she champions reproductive rights for Latines, shaping policy and mobilizing communities around health, equity, and human rights. With leadership roles at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains and the Latino Leadership Institute, Brenda has advanced reproductive rights and community empowerment for nearly two decades. A University of Colorado at Boulder graduate, she remains passionate about creating systemic change and is driven by a deep commitment to building lasting impact and cultivating spaces where individuals and communities can thrive.
