Biography
Bryson is a sustainability and natural resources expert with 15+ years of experience across Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. As Director of the Rights and Livelihoods Program at the Rights and Resources Initiative, he leads efforts to promote sustainable supply chains, advance land tenure reforms, and scale community-led economies.
With expertise in environmental policy, applied ecology, and international business, Bryson has advised governments, civil society, and private sector leaders on responsible land investments and forest governance. He has played a key role in global initiatives like the Interlaken Group, Path to Scale, and CLARIFI, mobilizing funding for Indigenous, community, and Afrodescendant land rights.
A recognized thought leader, Bryson has spoken at global forums, worked with corporations on sustainability, and contributed to high-impact research featured in The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Mongabay, and The Guardian.
