Carey Westgate

Biography

Carey is the Chief Operating Officer at Community Health Impact Coalition (CHIC), a global movement making professional community health workers the norm worldwide. She has over 12 years of experience in international development, global health, and management consulting, with a focus on strategy, operations, and advocacy. Carey's global perspective is enriched by her experiences working and living in the USA, Mozambique, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, and Myanmar. Before joining CHIC, she advanced through progressively senior positions at Living Goods, Deloitte Consulting, and Wells Fargo.

Carey holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins and graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University. Carey is passionate about improving access and quality of health care for underserved populations, especially women and children, and leveraging evidence, innovation, and collaboration to drive policy and system change.
