Biography

He is forestry engineer and has a MBA in Natural Resources Administration. He owns
extensive experience in issues related to conservation and development sustainable development of the Brazilian Amazon and in the formulation and management of policies public sector in the forestry area, having served as Secretary of Forests in the State of Acre, Director of the National Forestry Program of Ministry of the Environment of Brazil, Technical Advisor to the Minister of the Environment Environment Marina Silva and Legislative Advisor of the Sustainability Network Party in Federal Senate. In 2021, he was selected by the United Nations Program to the Environment to coordinate the Interfaith Initiative for Forests Tropical in Brazil. Since then, it has developed an innovative program to raise awareness and engage leaders and religious communities in the fight against climate change, preservation of the Amazon forest and defense of the rights of Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
