Caroline is the CEO of Open Road, and impact-first investor. She joined Open Road as its second employee in 2015 and launched the organization’s first loan product in 2017. Since then, Caroline has overseen and underwritten the deployment of over $80M in bridge loans, globally that have kept $800M of follow-on financing on track. Caroline has experience across the investment
process from origination to restructuring and currently focuses her time building the organization’s strategy, fundraising, communications and impact management.
Prior to Open Road, Caroline was an Investment Principal at Dalberg based in Washington DC and Johannesburg and an Investment Officer at Calvert Impact, where she originated and managed a loan portfolio focused on sustainable trade, social enterprise, and financial inclusion. She received her MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business and a BBA from the University of Michigan. Caroline lives in Seattle with
her husband, daughter and son.
