Cate enjoys supporting communities and governments to realize their water and sanitation vision. Cate has previously worked as the country Director for Uganda from 2012 to 2021. She contributes her 25 years of experience in Strategic planning, programme development and management, resource mobilization, driving results and mentoring young professionals. Cate has contributed to WASH sector policies and strategies a number of programmes related to Water resource development and management, market-based Sanitation and a number of innovations in Water and Sanitation in Uganda.
Cate holds an MBA from Heriot Wattt University in United Kingdom, a MSc (with distinction) in Water Resources and Environmental Management from Netherlands and Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry and Geology from Makerere University Uganda. Cate enjoys reading and spending time with her family
