Biography
Chantale Zuzi, a senior at Wellesley College, is the founder of Refugee Can Be, a non-profit dedicated to providing education for girls in the Rwamwanja refugee camp in Uganda. A survivor of war and violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Chantale has become a fierce advocate for displaced individuals' rights and education. She has worked closely with the United Nations to support young refugee women, including those with albinism and disabilities. Her TED Talk, "It is Possible to Break Through," delivers a message of resilience, inspired by her own experiences and her commitment to empowering others.
