Claire Leibowicz

Biography

Claire Leibowicz is the Head of the AI and Media Integrity Program at The Partnership on AI (PAI). With over a decade of experience in AI and society, she has developed multistakeholder AI governance, researched responsible AI, and informed technology policies. At PAI, she creates best practices for AI technologies impacting digital media and online information, focusing on generative and agentic AI, trustworthy information, and news sustainability.
Claire has been a Bellagio Fellow at The Rockefeller Foundation and her insights have appeared in publications such as Axios, The New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal. Claire holds a BA from Harvard, and a Master's degree from Oxford, where she studied as a Clarendon Scholar and is currently pursuing her doctorate part-time.
