Connor Macdonald is a content writer for Proximity Designs, an award-winning social enterprise offering products and services aimed at lifting Myanmar farmers out of poverty.
Connor has lived in Myanmar for three years where he has also worked as a journalist. Formerly on staff at the Myanmar Times, Connor’s work has also been published in Al Jazeera, Anadolu Agency, and The Lowy Institute on subjects including urban poverty, press freedom and forced displacement. Connor has a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Western Australia.
