Biography

Dale Lewis has pioneered research, piloted programs, and engineered solutions for harmonizing small-farmer needs around food production, markets and biodiversity with the founding of Community Markets for Conservation (COMACO), a social enterprise that drives consumer-based incentives to adopt agroforestry-based regenerative farmers around community-led conservation plans. With a team of 315 staff and over 335,000 small-scale farming households following a farming system that has contributed to a food brand called It’s Wild!, COMACO is transforming markets andlocal commitment to conservation.
