Biography
David Bornstein is the CEO and co-founder of the Solutions Journalism Network, which is leading an international movement to transform journalism into a system of knowledge dissemination to meet global needs. He has been a journalist focusing on social innovation for 35 years. From 2010 - 2021, he co-wrote and curated the Fixes column in The New York Times, which published 600 articles examining creative approaches to social and environmental challenges. He is the author of "How to Change the World: Social Entrepreneurs and the Power of New Ideas," which has been published in 25 languages, "The Price of a Dream: The Story of the Grameen Bank," and "Social Entrepreneurship: What Everyone Needs to Know." He is an Ashoka Fellow, a Draper Richards Kaplan Fellow, and a Member of the Board of BMe Community, a network leaders who invest in aspiring communities. He hails from Montreal and lives in New York City.
