David Damberger is the Founder and Managing Director of M-KOPA Mobility. David has been with M-KOPA for over 11-yrs and was formerly the Chief Strategy and Data Officer and also the MD of their Nigeria, Uganda, and Tanzania markets. Previously David worked as a corporate strategy consultant in telecom, was a Senior Director at Engineers Without Borders Canada, a co-founder of an online ethical shopping company and started the world’s first Fairly-traded Ice Hockey Puck company. David holds a B.Sc. in Engineering and Entrepreneurship from the University of Calgary and an MBA from the University of Oxford (Skoll Scholar). He also has a popular TED talk on “Admitting Failure".
