Biography
David Rothschild is Senior Director of Partnerships at Nia Tero, where he has worked since 2017. David was part of a small team that helped build Nia Tero. He helped develop its Amazon program, and is now focused on leading Nia Tero’s expansion into Africa. Prior to Nia Tero, David held various positions in philanthropy, including programmatic leadership roles at the then newly formed Fossil Foundation as well as 7 years with the Skoll Foundation. Earlier in his career David worked directly with Indigenous Peoples of the Amazon, including in roles with the Inter-American Development Bank, the Field Museum of Chicago and the Amazon Alliance for Indigenous and Traditional Peoples.
