Biography
Dia Chakraborty is a social impact professional and independent consultant with a decade-long experience in global grant-making and strategic philanthropy. Currently, as a senior consultant to the Skoll Foundation, she focuses on evaluating nonprofits aligned with the Foundation’s Pandemics and Health strategy. Previously, Dia served as the program manager for Co-Impact Asia's investments team and a fellow (analyst) with the Skoll Foundation's Portfolio and Investments team. As a former Teach for India Fellow, she is keen to combine her expertise in international education policy, global philanthropy, and nonprofit management to channel more philanthropic funding into locally-led Global South organizations. Dia holds a Master’s in International Education Policy from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Delhi University.
