Biography

Diana first joined Ashoka in the late1980 before pursuing a PhD. She returned to Ashoka in the late 1990s while writing her dissertation about social movements, and was named President in 2005. With a PhD in Anthropology and decades of experience at Ashoka and around the world, she has led thinking on frameworks and methodology to measure both system change and evidence for mindset shift. Over the years, she’s also led several of Ashoka's core work through the expansion of Ashoka's presence in Africa, Middle East, East Asia and Western Europe and supported Ashoka colleagues in launching new initiatives including the Impact and Evidence Team that she currently leads.
